There is little I love to more than to hear about a spoiled celebrity getting juiced.  I am very happy to tell you that lots of spoiled celebrities are now getting juiced.

Celebrities have been over-indulged by the purveyors of fine merchandise for decades.  Fabulous and disgustingly expensive bags, jewels and clothes are just some of the items that celebrities get for free while we peons of the work a day world are lucky to find a useful double coupon.  And they’re the ones with the dough!

Well this gross display of idol-indulgence is all over girls!  The times are changing as superstars are now (somewhat) financially responsible for all their freebees.

Following the Oscars this year, the IRS is coming down hard on celebrities (not hard enough though in my opinion) as the ‘American-royals’ are being forced to pay taxes on their ‘gifts.’  Yes, gifts ARE taxable, especially when said gifts include necklaces, bracelets, bags, dresses, electronics and other goodies worth thousands of dollars each.  Yes, EACH!  Yes, today is a good, good day in America.

I wonder if our Hollywood honeys will think twice before accepting that ten thousand dollar brooch or twenty thousand dollar choker next year.  Wouldn’t it be fabulous if the famed were circumstantially forced to budget or, better yet, use their imagination in wardrobe creation just like we working stiffs do?

Fat chance I know but I still feel somewhat victorious today.  Today, the day reality landed in the lap of luxury.
